Help! - (Straffing) - 3D camera rigged up to XBOX controller

Hi guys, I’ve almost successfully completed a 3D camera that’s rigged up to my Xbox controller.


there’s one thing I just can’t seem to fix. I believe it’s referred to as ‘Straffing’ - I want the camera’s movement controls to be relative to the forward POV. Could someone please help me to understand how I can’t amend this!?

There’s a component which does this - see CameraViewport from Palette. See documentation here:

Set navigation mode to camera for first person style used in games. It also supports WASD QE keys for walking/strafing. One option is to use this component and link your controller to it, or copy the parts you need to complete your own component.
