Hi, I am using a Hokuyo sensor model UST20-LX lidar sensor in combination with the Hokuyo CHOP, connecting via IP.
I am seeing issues where if i close my Touch project and reopen it that the Hokoyu CHOP cannot connect on the same IP, unless I power reset the sensor. ie in the CHOP if i deactivate/reactivate using the switch, or press the restart button, it still shows a warning that it cannot connect. I also tried deleting the CHOP and recreating but still cannot connect.
It feels like the sensor is holding onto a connection which is then blocking a new connection based on the fact only a power reset of the sensor allows me to connect again?
I have tried updating the firmware with no effect (now on 4.0.3-A). Touch is on version 2025.32460
Has anyone seen connection issues like this before? I am trying to use the sensor in an install and only came across the problem when testing for stability with stopping and starting Touch.
