Hi there, i’m going to build a interactive floor with size of 40x6m, there is no much room on the ceiling and i’m excluding multiple kinects or cameras, in favor of lidar technology at 15-30 cm ( 1/2-1ft) to detect legs and feets of the people walking.
I’m also aware that there will be some blind corners and spots behind a detected object, so maybe two or more lidars are needed.
I’m thinking about laser scanners or lidar, especially if they can be interfaced using network and POE.
Anyone has experience about this kind of technology?
