Hey guys! I’m working on a performance where I build visuals live, and concurrently trigger MIDI out from my laptop keyboard out to my synth. I’ve set up a simple keyboard in CHOP using ‘tab, shift enter’ but I’m realizing now that some of the other keys are unable to function normally (eg. searching for nodes using the letters and such) and trigger MIDI at the same time. I’ve searched it up and was recommended the keyboard in DAT plus some python coding. However, further research said it wouldn’t work.
I’m honestly kinda confused and lowkey is it even possible? Would really really appreciate any help. Thank you!
