How is that supposed to work? Sync out / in?

Hi,

I’m a bit confused by what these do, I thought I need to put the sync out in one touch process and the sync in in another one and the main timeline would be synchronized, doesn’t seem the case.

First the sync out is requiring an input, if I plug something there, the client connects and I get the value in the other process, much like touch out/in, but timelines don’t synchronize automatically.

Is something else required? Help isn’t really explicit.

Hey,
The nodes don’t sync the timeline. Very few projects actually run based on the timeline so that alone wouldn’t do the trick for a lot of cases. You should send the values that you want to be in sync (frame number, parameters for blending etc) using these nodes.
