How to connect Nintendo Joycon to Touchdesigner as IMU sensor?

I am trying to use a Nintendo switch joycon as an IMU sensor to track hand movement. However, the chop joycon can not detect the switch since it is connected through Bluetooth. Is there a way to map or connect the switch joycon to touchdesigner?

Hi @ShaoErKuai,

no idea if this works but sounds like

might make it possible for TouchDesigner to detect the controller as a Joystick.

cheers

I was able to use this one earlier this year to connect the joycons via bluetooth to my windows and then the program outputs some channels via OSC.

disclaimer: in my experience bluetooth on windows generally sucks if you have 2+ devices, so there might be similar and better performing options on Mac
