How to edit golden/yellow parameters?

the palette popDialog used to allow me to adjust height, but now it’s colored golden and says “me.DialogHeight”. It won’t let me edit the value. How can I edit yellow or golden parameters?

I don’t know about that palette specifically, but this is where you toggle read only (ie. yellow parameter). Right click on the expanded parameter to see this menu.

Taking it out of a read-only state and changing the number will break it. That’s why it’s read-only.

Hello, I also have this probem, specifically with the Knob inside the Slider COMP. I am unable to edit the expression controlling the layout width. The height is editable.

@Rachel_Music consider using the Palette widget slider instead, it has a lot more options:
