How to export projects as standalone files?

What is the best way to export a TouchDesigner project? I will be submitting for an academic project - is there a way to export parojects as small standalone applications like in Max MSP?

Nope, you can’t export to an executable from TD. The only options are either rendering to a static movie, or playing your .toe file on a TouchPlayer or a TouchDesigner instance.

Thanks for your response. I have to submit several TD projects as part of submission for an academic thesis.

While the TD project is only used as part of the wider project submission, this will require submission of a TD project that can be inspected in some way by an examiner unfamiliar with the system and whom I can’t expect to download the entire programme.

Have you any recommendations given the above situation or perhaps any reading you would recommend?

Maybe you can get away with submitting the project file and another video that is a screen recording of your network as you explain all of the interactions and design desicions?
