how to get to a hidden window?

Hi,

I have a render.toe (Derivative knows what I’m talking about) that has a panel
which normally goes to the right monitor. Since I’m running on my laptop,
the panel is taking up the right half of my screen. The actual toe file is hidden
behind that perform panel, and no matter what I try I can’t get to grab it and move
it.
Is there any key that allows me to get out of perform mode? Even when I seem to have selected it in my task bar, (with F3) doesn’t get rid of the panel.
I need to make some changes to the actual operators but in short I can’t get to them.

My alternative is to go to the office, copy my subtree to another computer with
a secondary monitor, make my changes trying to save the toe on the left half of the screen, and go back home. Sounds like there should be another way…!

nevermind I figured it out - I opened the render toe and moved the window before it had time to turn on the right monitor.

Hey Dani,

so the panel takes up the right half of your screen - would it then be possible to maximize the Designer window? That should give you access to the Dialogs Menu and Windowplacement Dialog.

Otherwise switch in the Taskbar to the TouchDesigner Window and try bringing up the textport with Alt+Shift+t. Then look for the winplacement command which should enable you to disable the second monitor.
