I have been watching many tutorials where people are using a “video device in” feed as webcam to show themselves in the tutorial. I think it’s quite neat and minimalistic and I would like to do the same. I have tried doing the same but obviously when I press pause in the main network where I am working also the camera feed stops. Which is not ideal…
The fact that the view stays always on top means that they are running the camera from the same network or the same file at least. But I could not find a way to “decouple” the video feed playback from the main timeline. Meaning, no matter what I have tried, if I pause the playback also the camera freezes.
I am sure I missing something very simple here… is anyone able to help?
