attempting to use a trendnet IP camera in tethered ethernet mode. I’ve confirmed the camera is liveon the network. How do I get it into the videoin top?

Usually the manufacturer will have a driver/application you install that connects your computer to the camera. It will then expose the camera to the OS via DirectShow, which is what the Video In TOP uses to interface with cameras.
