How to make it rain cats & dogs?

Hi community, new user with a few touchdesigner beginner courses under my belt.

How would you recommend making cats & dogs rain down? My idea is like:

Make it rain across 3 displays
Rain-particles can be randomized sprites of 15-dogs/15-cats (30 animals altogether)
The sprites can float down like a leaf…twist, go upside down, zig zag.
The sprites “rain” is not straight down… They can travel down sideways at angles up to 45-degrees angle.
The Z-axis 3D depth is short, so theres no very tiny sprite particles far away…

Hi @bluewhale, have you looked at the particlesGPU example in the palette yet? That’s got a nice starting point for high particle counts and large canvases. Otherwise it might be worth doubling down on your tuts and examples for using / working with instances. :slight_smile:
