Hello there, I’m new to touch designer and I hope someone can help me pointing me in the right direction here.
So I’m using a Vst that I’ve loaded into my project via the “chop vst”.
The vst I’m using has 12outputs and I would like to use all of them.
What I’ve tried at the moment is to go to “Output buss layout” in my vst chop and make a custom output then select expression and put this: ‘chan_[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12]’.
On the output I have several select chop connected and for each of them I’ve assigned two channels.
Unfortunately this doesn’t seems to work, if I click on the “viewer active” of my vst chop I don’t get any output on any of the busses that I’ve created.
What’s the best way to do so?

Hi @MassyG,
what version of TouchDesigner are you using and could you share the name of the VST Plugin?
Also where do you enter this expression? Would you not just select the appropriate layout from the Output Bus Layout
parameter’s dropdown menu?

I’m on Free version 2023.11760
the plugin I’m trying to use is called remix by accon digital.
On the drop down menu I get only option to work with quadraphonic, 7.1 and other multi speaker systems.

for multichannel output, only the options available in the Output Bus Layout
parameter are currently available. Specifying output channels as you are trying is not possible.
But loading the plugin here on my machine by default gives me 12 channels - is that not the case for you?
