Howto get these smooth liquidy displacement trails?

I came across this amazing liquidy smoky trails effect and I am figuring out what should I google for learning this type of effect in TouchDesigner. Is it some kind of a feedback effect and noise based displacement? What should I learn and what should I search for?
I know that there’s 3D rendering also involved in Blender, etc.
