For this video below I’d like to hear your methods on going about creating this rain over glass animation, as an animated texture of course so it can be composited over other footage.
My idea was sampling random points from a static noise TOP to a Feedback Top, then i’d use a transform top to move down on the Y axis by a little so theres a trail going downwards, and then use a displace TOP to animate the effect, followed with some post processing using edge TOP and Blur.
Though I wonder if there’s more clever techniques to achieve a more 1:1 result from the video?
My method seems to result in a more cartoonish result, would have liked to achieve something more visually similar to the real thing from the video.
