IK Bones - Question on usage

Out of curiosity, I’m trying to teach myself how to use the IK Bone system, and I have a basic IK Skeleton set up based on the Operator Snippets. The question I have is how to apply the bone capture group to a SOP mesh? Is there an example of the bones being applied to an object? Do I have to select the bone data from the Inverse Kin CHOP to recreate a SOP mesh using the channel data?
