Hi, i was creating image reference to test the compression in other software.
I was really surprise about all the artefacts when i saved in JPG codec, i even try to saved with the command : n.save(‘image.jpg’, quality=1.0); and still there : blue is different and red pixel around the blue square, you can compare with PNG :
That led me to explore the EXR codec. I just complained to Notch about their poor PNG read/write performance. I’ve noticed that EXR offers several interesting codecs for real-time playback, like B44 and DWAB. However, in TouchDesigner, I don’t see any option to choose the EXR codec, it seems to default to ZIP, right?
