i seem to have a really hard time to import ANY 3D Model into the recent TouchDesigner Build.
I have tried every option to export (obj,fbx,3DS) from Cinema4D into TD and all i get is totally empty nodes.
I try now to take the models through Blender,
but again nothing but empty nodes.
I am shure i was able to import OBJ (made in Photoshop and Sketch Up) in an older build.
Has anyone a working solution to import 3dmodels with textures from cinema into touch?
(or at least Blender)?
I noticed the same was happening for me on certain models, and I found it was because of Mayaâs namespace thing creating really long names for my objects in touch designer upon import. Not sure how cinema 4D works but if the names are really long itâs possible the same thing is happening to you?

I also tried it with 3D studio and that worked really well.
Seems like the problem with Cinema4D was that objects were âeditable Meshesâ or however cinema calls that. Works with simple polygonsâŚ
