Importing fbx:wishlist

would it be possible to import into POPs the deformed geo that is rendered in the shader when an fbx file is imported? at the moment I use either a resampled skeleton or a color buffer that gives me world space positions. would be great to get the deformed geometry as an import in POPs

You can use the import select POP + Skin Deform POP, see toe, let us know if you meant something else!

BUT…the fbx file I have works perfectly with 11880 but not with the Alpha 31525…
can I send the fbx privately? (NDA). Support?

yo this is awesome. I don’t have any experience with fbx files. but is there a certain order i need the body data to be in?

Hi Davis,

I don’t think any of us has attempted that yet, you probably have to roll your own constraint system for your particular skeleton with what the bodytrack CHOP gives you.
You might have better luck asking about it in the main forum in case other people tried it, since this is not POPs alpha specific and is available in the last public releases.
