Improvements to Table DAT viewer

When editing a Table DAT inside TD trough it’s viewer, some things feel missing which I think most users should be familiar with in any other table-editing UI:

  • selecting multiple rows or columns at the same time (shift+click to select a range, ctrl+click to select individual lines). This is useful for copy/paste and deletion of multiple lines.
  • reordering a row/column selection (dragging on a row or column header to insert it in another position, ctrl+drag to drag a copy instead)
  • bonus: manual column width (drag edge between column headers to resize column to the left, can be temporary until viewer is deactivated, allows for truncating cell content ← because sometimes one column with very long names can make viewing the table inconvenient.

Agreed. This has been on the RFE list for a while but hasn’t bubbled up to the top. Until it does, I recommend setting Modern CSV as your external DAT viewer.
