Would there be a way to improve this forum so that
1/You can automatically subscribe to any topic you create or respond to (I always forget to check the box “Notify me when a reply is posted”)
2/You can “follow” a topic if you are not a participant in it but just want to get updates?
Would also be great if the answer or new topic appeared in the email you receive rather than just a link back to the forum

1/ You can go turn this on under User Control Panel > Edit Posting Defaults >Notify me upon replies by default
2/ You can click “Subscribe Topic” at the very bottom of the page (in the blue footer) to any topic and follow along.
We’ll look at the email suggestion, but for the most part the forum is using the standard feature set of phpbb which is limited for such options.

My pet wish for the forum is some way to search for attachments.
For example, I’d love to have a way to search for posts that have an attachment where the subject does not contain the word “bug” 
I’ve tried hunting through the phpBB pages to see if there are plug-ins etc. that help you do that but not really sure how it al works.

It’s also not clear where to post questions that are not “Beginner” questions and also not “General Discussion” but direct questions.
