I’m wondering if anyone out there encounters the problem that the operator “info…” pop up suddenly stops opening, and whether or not you’ve found a workaround (some errors, like the one I’m trying to figure out now when a movie out, when activated, displays an error icon, would only show up in that pop up info… window I think).
The only workaround is to actually reboot the computer, which is really annoying, and this problem happens very frequently. (right now I only had slack, sourcetree, vscode and chrome opened when it showed up) - CORRECTION. I just rebooted and still nothing shows up when I click on ‘Info…’
is this with the latest official and are there particular settings in the MovieFileOut TOP that might help us replicate the issue?
You could also see if the Error DAT reports the error when it happens.
it’s with build 13631 and it’s not related to the moviefileout top, actually I can start a brand new touch session and when I click on info… nothing pops up - but I couple of days ago I found that lil’ ‘I’ in the parameters’ help group, and that works. it’s just the rightclick/info… menu that doesn’t.
does the middle mouse btn info work on operators?
Otherwise any info on the videocard / driver version would be helpful to try to track this down.
And just in case: please make sure those drivers are up to date.
This might be a clue: I find they show up in weird places when using the rclick menu Info. If the node is close to the right or top edge of the TouchDesigner window, the info popup is not visible.
Also this seems to be related to DPI scaling. All of it only effecting the rclick info popup.
