Hello. I’m brand new to TouchDesigner, trying to recreate the interactive “rippling line” effect from this installation: Gateway — LACHLAN TURCZAN .
I’m working my way through tutorials that seem relevant, like this one on interactive lines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUBSNq1JT2c and this one on LiDAR integration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jz-irdEYUZM. I have an Orbbec Femto Bolt that I’d like to use as my sensor, but for the time being all I’m looking to get up and running is an interactive mouse version.
Still, I’m so new to the program that it’s hard to know where and how I should begin to translate a preexisting tutorial file into the “windblown/rippling curtain” effect I’m shooting for.
Any help or guidance would be amazing.
