iPod drum remote, guitar autowhammy, Guitar Antihero...

The EV Labs page has videos of things driven by Touch. Brainstorming has never been so painless. Thanks, Derivative!

 Currently:

iPod Touch remote drum machine and MultiTouch live video controller
–sending OSCdata from an iPod to Touch to trigger drum samples, and using multitouch to drive a live video feed around the screen.

“Guitar Antihero”, the opposite of the game “Guitar Hero”
–using a midi guitar to recreate the graphics and game play of “Guitar Hero”, only backwards. You’ll see dan.FBX dancing in the background. There’s a “cheat mode”, too.

Color Organ, invented by Sir Isaac Newton circa 1700
–A midi guitar triggering point sprites mapped to a diatonic or chromatic scale. It was trivial to add a switched table for all of the different color maps published in the last 300 years. It’s like a science fair project, but trippier.

Guitar autowhammy
–Pitch bend +1octave, -1octave, or -1wholestep based on how you’re holding the guitar (for very lazy guitarists). Using a wireless inertial sensor (okay, it’s the guts of a wiimote) via bluetooth and a java app sending OSC to Touch which hands off pitch bend data to an outboard audio box. Surprisingly fun and intuitive to use.

Nice array of different ideas here! I love seeing all the different ways people come up with to use Touch.
