Is this made with touch designer?

I’m want to discover how this is made!
I made few experiments using grid/primitives/facets and their orientations. Is it the good path?

Can I select and disturb group of these facets rather than all of them?

The end up setup would involve kinect or as seen in video, I think its kinetic pad of a playstation 3.

If localized facets could start swirl under the users hand or destruct like in video it would look great! Magnet effect.
I made that one! You will probably think its miles away from the other video, yes, I know, that is why I’m asking some help. Any info would be great. thx

You may need to dive into GLSL to get this kind of behavior inside of TouchDesigner. It’s certainly do-able though.

Great thanks for reply, I’ll persevere in GLSL direction, so clay sop could not deform that I take it? only applies to grids and geo?

I am really curious about this other video, you will see half way though it , when the guy deforms the grid by just grabbing it, is this the power of curve clay?
where would I find simple info about how to use it, because I must admit Touch designer site if you have no much technical background I find it really hard to understand.
If only there was a example with Clay sop connected to all different possibilities in form of a tree, maybe the common man could understand better.
I just fell on these series of 5 min course from derivative and I think they are brilliant.
I did take a full course online but, still many things I cannot figure out. people did warn me about steep learning curve!
