Issues Installing on a Surface Pro 11 (ARM architecture)

Hello!

When I try to install TouchDesigner on a Surface Pro 11 I get the error “This program can only be installed on versions of Windows designed for the following processor architectures: x64”

Does anybody have any experience successfully installing on the new ARM Surfaces?

I tried setting some compatibility settings with no success but I’m open to trying any advice.

Thanks!

I moved this out of the bug category since this is not a bug.

We don’t currently build a TouchDesigner version for Win ARM.

We don’t have an Surface 11 for testing, are the compatibility settings you are talking about supposed to emulate x64 arch?

Best,
Michel

Thank you for your reply!

Yes the compatibility settings are supposed to emulate x64. I’m guessing that it can run an exe like a game, but that an installer would still cause issues.

That makes sense to me, but I was hoping somebody might have come up with a workaround.
