Hey all,
I have a besic setup of converting a soundwave to a sop. when extruding that wave 3d model, it jitters around; i suppose the normals are oriented weirdly, I can’t seem to fix that though. Any help aapreciated :–)

I don’t know much about extruding, but if you use a Point SOP, you can set the normals manually.
EDIT: that wasn’t it, but you can use a post transform to normalize the position. I don’t know what’s causing it to extrude it in opposing directions, someone else can hopefully help you prevent the issue in the first place, but this is a temporary workaround:

another option may be to Transform SOP (tz) the initial ChopToSOP, Merge SOP that with the original, and Skin SOP to fill in the surface:
