Kinect depth and color point cloud flicker a lot

Hi,

is it normal that Kinect 2.0 Color and depth point cloud flicker a lot?
If I use the regular depth option it doesn’t happen. The problem is that this option is not aligned with the regular color option and I would like to use both as input for my color.

could you describe the flicker you are experiencing?

For example when comparing to this video on youtube here

is that comparable?
