Kinect Input Skipping

I’m using a Kinect Chop to rig a simple character and when I moved the project to a new computer the Kinect started only updating about 5 times per second. the rest of the project was moving at a normal speed, so trails and such would continue operating at full fps but, The Kinect info would update slower. Does anyone know why that might be happening

I figured out that if I put the Kinect on a higher priority in task manager it fixed my problem
