Labels on operator in/outputs not showing

Not sure if this is bug or a user / system error… Working in 31760, i noticed that the labels that used to come up when hovering over an operator in / output do not show anymore. Making it a bit hard for the lesser used operators to find out which signal goes where  .. then rolling back to 2023.12000, the labels don’t show as well.. am i missing a display setting / shortcut that hides those labels? or is there something more general going on?

Any help is welcome!

Hi @JvN

Looks fine on my end. Can you share a file where it’s occurring?

Thanks,
Michel

It’s not just one file, but the entire interface across all files. For example on the count CHOP there should be labels indicating the ‘count’, ‘increment’ ‘ and ‘reset’ inputs. but they just don’t show up. Also when I make a base and add and name an input to that myself, the name doesn’t show outside the base.

:face_with_peeking_eye: user error after all… in Preferences there’s a checkbox ‘Help Tags’.. no Idea why / how that became unchecked, but apparently this setting is shared across all installed instances of TD. Couldn’t find any info on it. Thank you for looking into it anyway!
