Lasers and Kinetic lights

I saw the laser tracking ball controlled by touch desnder on YouTube.
I bought a laser light and etherdream DAC to try it at home. :confused:
The problem now is:

  1. how should I use laser to transmit one or more laser beams?
  2. how should I locate the emitted laser beam accurately in the center of the ball?
    Can someone tell me?
