Latency in video export - tdableton to touchdesigner - with MIDI Data from ableton

Hello,
i am still a beginner and actually i am using ableton to send Audio soundwise and MIDI Data to control touchdesigner and have difficulties to export the animation synced to the music. In realtime in TD everything is synced but the exported video is always out of sync. For that i have to tell, that till now, i don´t know how to export video and audio in one movie from TD. That´s why i make a workaround and take the wav-file of the audio and the exported video from TD into after effects and line them up. But still the video is out of sync. Somewhere i read it´s the different behaviours of ableton (is linear working) and TD is buffered working (cooking). Is there a way to get a perfect synced video? Even with the workaround thru a videoediting-programm?

If you want it to be real time, you’ll need to pipe the audio into TD from ableton. This can be acheived a variety of different ways, highest fidelity/low latency I’ve found is probably an audio card like the UAD Apollo’s console mixer. If you don’t want to use external hardware, Voicemeeter is a good option for sending it via a virtual audio card and piping it into touch. of course, all options will introduce some amount of latency.
