It depends on what type of light you are trying to control, and what is your set up to send DMX out to your lights, but in short :
Scale the incoming leap motion data to a suitable range using a math chop, and maybe a limit chop if you anticipate that there will be occasionally some unusual peaks and lows.
DMX fixtures expect values between 0-255.
Use a DMX out chop to send out DMX to your lights.
