Leap motion CHOP : wrist and elbow not working (when using API v4 Orion)

When using Leap Motion CHOP with API : Version 4 Orion, wrist and elbow channels always return 0.
(build 64-bit 2019.20140 / windows 10 64)

When using API version 2, wirst and elbow DO work fine… but with this version of the API Leap Motion CHOP stops working when TD is not the foreground application (which is not an option for what I need to do…)

looking at JSONViewer.html (provided with LeapMotion SDK) : I can see that elbow and wrist are available using V4 API (so this is not an API limitation)

Thanks, I confirmed the wrist and elbow channels seem to not be working with Version 4, so we’ll fix that shortly.

Regarding the Version 2 not working when TD doesn’t have focus, this is not what I experienced in testing just now, and it would not be expected. I tried in Perform Mode as well but using another application in focus and it still tracked fine. Could you describe in detail how you are running your setup as it should not stop tracking, but perhaps you have a different cooking issue in your file?

The bug with the wrist and elbow joints not updating has been fixed now and will be included in the next official update.

Thanks for the fix, looking forward next update

about Version 2 not working when TD doesn’t have focus : I tested on another comuter, and it worked fine… so I guess that there’s something wrong in my computer, but can’t find what…
I have the same issue in VVVV.
I think that in v2 drivers there used to be an option in leapmotion control panel “Allow Background Apps”, but now in Orion it’s gone…
as I installed and reinstalled many different versions of the drivers on this computer, maybe something is stuck somewhere, some old preference file…
anyway, if u fixed the V4, I’ll be happy with it, thanks !
