Limitation of brainwave values in animation

Hi there,

I am doing a thesis project using Muse 2 for EEG. One of the components is an animation whose movement depends on brain waves taken from the OSC in real time. Currently, the animation responds to the entire waveform graph. What should I do to output a specific range of values from these graphs? E.g. if it is from 0 to 5 then the animation doesn’tt move, but above 5 noise works.
I probably gave a lot of unnecessary settings in the project, because I am still learning hehe. I added nod ‘trim’ but can’t manage it. I care about selecting, for example, the beta brainwave and showing its upper values. The animation is supposed to move in a moment of heightened excitement or stress.

I attach an overview video on youtube here:

Hi Kasia,

There are loads of ways to do this, one of the simplest would be to have a logic chop (set to off when outside bounds) drive a switch chop to swap between a default value and the brain data.

Hi Kieransullivan,
Sorry I’m replying late, there was a lot going on. The problem has been solved (yeah I was probably too tired before my diploma to do simpler things hah :upside_down_face:)…
Thank you for the answer!

Kasia
