Line MAT performs differently on SOPs vs POPs

Here we have the same OBJ file being loaded as a SOP and as a POP. They are using the same line material.

In SOPs, the lines are nicely around the edges of the OBJ.
In POPs, we are getting triangulation showing up with the lines.

Is this a bug? Intentional? Way to fix (or change this behavior) currently?

Could you kindly provide us with an OBJ file in which this issue occurs? The files we have tested do not exhibit this problem.

Certainly. The file I have is from OSM, maybe that has something to do with it. It was also edited in Houdini and then Blender. But from what I could tell the geo seemed fine and obvs works how I would expect it to as a SOP. Thanks for taking a look!

It’s looks like the File In POP produces a mesh with a different topology. We’ll look into this. Thanks.
