Hi — I’m looking for people who work with HAP / NotchLC day to day to try a small tool and tell me what’s wrong with it.
The pain I’m solving: often I only need to check a file (codec, resolution, fps, alpha) before it goes into a project, and launching TouchDesigner — or Resolume / Notch — just for that feels heavy.
loopeek is a drag-and-drop player for HAP / NotchLC / ProRes / H.264. From v0.6.1, playback and metadata are free forever (no license to inspect a file). Conversion (HAP ↔ ProRes / H.264, including chunks and HAP Alpha), PNG / OpenEXR sequences, and multi-tab are unlocked for 7 days, then $19 one-time (2 devices) if you keep those.
Mac (Apple Silicon, notarized) / Windows:
If you try it, I’d really value blunt notes: awkward UI, missing codecs/workflows, wrong defaults for chunks, anything that doesn’t match how you actually work on-site. Feature requests and bug reports welcome on GitHub Issues or support@dougu.dev — I’m iterating from real field use, not a feature checklist.
Thanks — and if this isn’t useful for your workflow, that’s useful signal too.
