any idea what the problem is ?
got an alienware with dual 560m nvidia running I7 with 32 ram, should run fine 
ok solved, for some reason my 3d settings on the card at global settings were at full …ambient onclussion was on max…lol
Also keep in mind TouchDesigner only uses 1 Graphics card per process. So you’d need to open a second process to use your 2nd graphics card. I’ve never done that in a laptop, so I’m not sure the process required or if it’s as simple as open another instance and you’re good.
It only works with Quadros, and you need to use the -gpu startup option to control which GPU the process will connect to.
well good subject here as for my gig am planning to use more than two window COMPs to output to two or more different screens. so what is a nice setup with max fps ? do i need then 2 quadro cards ? as am building all kinds of cells and they will be floating through space due instancing.
If you are just using 2 outputs, then you will get best performance by using a single Window COMP that spans across the desktop so it’s outputting to both monitors.
