I’m using the oculusRift tool from the palette. Inside the oculusRift CHOP I see the render resolution (renderL_width, renderL_height, etc) is 1824x1968, even though the screen resolution of Meta Quest 3 is 2064x2208.
I can artificially increase the resolution that I’m sending to the render TOP, but I don’t see a difference, at least in the built-in scene (mountains with purple lights).
Is it possible to use the full Quest 3 resolution or is TD limiting it to this lower resolution?
Hi @SirAlmondRB,
haven’t tried the Meta Quest 3 yet but wondering if the correct resolution is set in the Oculus App’s Device settings?
cheers

Thanks!
It was set to the default resolution, 3616x1936. I increased it to 3936x2096 (1.1x) and now the resolution shown in the oculusRift CHOP is 1984x2144 (instead of 1824x1968).
So this helped! I’m not yet sure why there’s a discrepancy between the two resolutions though.
