Lowest latency IP camera setup

Hi,

Wondering what your experience has been with latency of IP cameras in TD?

The best we’ve managed so far was 200-300mS with CCTV (Bosch Dinion) cameras. I’m wondering if I can expect to achieve shorter delays with Point Grey (now Flir) GigE cameras?

Any other suggestions are welcome!

We use a Flir Blackfly S BFS-PGE-16S2C. At 1280x720 with 60fps we measure a latency of 7 frames => 117ms.

I have placed a text TOP with absTime.frame and the Video Device In TOP side-by-side. Then substract the frames.
