Hello TouchDesigner Support Team,
I am currently learning TouchDesigner on macOS and encountered an issue with modifier key mapping in the network editor.
Environment:
-
OS: macOS Tahoe 26.5
-
TouchDesigner Build: 2025.32820
-
Hardware: MacBook Pro
Steps to reproduce:
-
Open “Op Create Menu” by Tab key.
-
Attempt to select and place multiple operators at the same time by holding down the Command key (which usually acts as Ctrl on macOS).
-
The shortcut does not work as expected, and it does not allow multiple operators to be queued for creation.
Context:
I am following the official 100 Fundamentals course, specifically lesson “101: Navigating the Environment → Working with COMPS” (Timestamp 00:43), where the instructor holds the Ctrl key (on Windows) to add multiple operators simultaneously.
On macOS, holding Command (or Control/Option) does not replicate this behavior.
Could you please let me know if this is a known bug, or if there is a specific workaround/setting for Mac users to achieve this functionality?
Thank you for your help!
Best regards,
Dmitrii
