Matching TouchDesigner Camera COMP to Unreal Engine Cinemcam control for Virtual Production

Hey guys, hope everyone is well! I am having trouble understanding the TD Camera Comp parameters for Virtual Production, coming from an Unreal Engine Cinema Camera properties: Cine Camera Actor | Unreal Engine 4.27 Documentation The main properties we would like to be able to control in TD, based on how we work in Unreal are

  • Filmback
  • Current Focal Length
  • Crop
  • Frustrum Overscan

What we are noticing in TD when working in Focal Length and Aperture mode, is that the aperture seems to behave a bit like the focal length, and that we cannot find a way to create an overscan much like ‘widening our frustrum’ in Unreal. Ultimately, we would like to be able to control our camera comp in the same way we work with the cinema camera in unreal, but are having difficulty translating our language… I think.
