Math combine A + B order

Hi.

I’m having a very hard time believing this myself, but as I was following one tutorial today, I noticed that it does matter in which order I put two variables in A + B Block (I was having N and one custom variable resulting a new N) in Math Combine operator, which doesn’t make any sense to me.. Has anyone else noticed anything similar? Also, I’ve had some weirdness while using angle on Math Mix operator, but it just might be me..

Hi @tonirandell,

could you post simple replicable examples that shows the behaviors?

cheers
Markus

weirdmathcomp.tox (11.5 KB) There are two math combines on the red annotate area which are having A + B other way around. This is where I found it.

If A is N then the points are starting to attract each other, but other way around not really.

Hi @tonirandell,

when switching N and ALiF in the second Math Combine POP, you also need to specify the Result Scope to be “N”. By default it is set to the name of the attribute in Scope A of your operation.

but of course! how didn’t I notice that… thanks!
