MediaPipe.tox webBrowser looks "zoomed in" in the Experimental Release 2025.30960 Macbook

Hi there I hope someone can help me with this:
For months I’ve been using the MediaPipe.tox in my TD 2023.12480, on Mac Apple M2 Pro without problems but today I added the .tox into the new experimental Release 2025.30960 and i noticed that the TOP_output is veeery zommed, as if it’s showing only a corner of the video. If compared with a “videodevin” the difference is very visibile.

It also appear an error inside the webBrowser container, which i guess is linked to this problem.. I’m attaching screenshots here:

Not sure if it’s a bug, but I hope someone could help!

The scaling is apparently due to a new dpi-scale parameter in the experimental webRender TOP. This is something @blankensmithing would have to explicitly disable in his tool. I can’t replicate the error you got though and it seems unrelated.

@josefpelz was right, the dpi scale factor inside the webrender component was set to 2, setting it to 1 fixed the issue for me

We’ve logged this issue to tweak the defaults, but the workaround above is correct, just reset that DPI Scaling parameter.

Yes! I did the workaround on changing the DPI scale to 1 inside the MediaPipe patch and saved a new version ^^

hii, I’ve had the same problem, I tried changing the DPI scale but now it just doesn’t show anything and tells me there’s a “webpage error”. would you know how I could fix that ?

Hey, I’m looking into rolling out an update to manually change the DPI when the component loads. I was trying to find a way of maintaining a version of MP that’ll still work with earlier versions of TD. I think I solved it

Just released the new version with the fix!

FYI we are working on a fix for the Web Render TOP as the default settings for the new ‘DPI Scaling’ parameter is causing this issue. Simply set this parameter to 1.0 for now.
