Midi In Chop Doesn't Obey 'Control' Name

OS: Windows 10 Pro 19043.1165
TD: Commercial 64-Bit Build 2021.15020
Midi Device: APC40 MKII

Using the MIDI In CHOP: The Controller Name parameter doesn’t seem to be obeyed. See screenshot. I am receiving channel names with “ctrl” when the parameter is set to “c”. Confirmed the behavior on a new file.

Hello.
If the parameters are disabled it means they are not being used.
In this case, it is because “Simplified Output” on the first page is enabled.
This sets up channel names automatically.

For full control, disable this setting.

Cheers,
Rob.

The MIDI Out CHOP defaults to using “c” for control and that threw me for a loop given the MIDI in CHOP defaults to simplified output and uses “ctrl”. Thus, output was partially broken for me until I understood that this is what was happening. Maybe the defaults could be updated to be compatible?

Thanks for the help BTW!

That’s a great suggestion. We’ll add it to our list.
Cheers.
