MIDI In CHOP is not reading MIDI files

When I open a MIDI file in the MIDI In CHOP, it reads the correct length of the file, but reads zero input messages received. I’ve verified that the file does include notes by opening it in a MIDI file player.

what are the settings on the parameter pages of the MIDI In CHOP? Have you specified the channel, notes, etc that you want to read?
If you can, please share the midi file here so we can have a look.
