Dear list,
I’m trying to get my MIDI controllers running in TD but I can’t make it recognize the devices. I’ve tested them with Ableton. MIDI messages are coming into the serial port as expected but they are just not picked up by TD. Does anynoe know why this might be?
The controlers I’m using are a Korg Nanokontrol and an Oxygen49

Can you describe exactly how you trying to make them working in TD? Because I’ve used nanokontrol several times in TD and had no problems with it.

Sure, i’ve first set my controller in the MIDI Device Mapper options. Then I simply use the MIDIin CHOP but I keep getting the warning “Could not open the MIDI interface”. Importing MIDI files with it works fine though.
From there I went to see if I can manage with the MIDIEvent DAT, but nothing is coming from my controller. To see if it was a hardware issue I tried another controller and same thing goes on.
I tried the interface with other software and it gets the messages just fine, so I can’t figure out what might be wrong.
Nevermind… the problem got solved in the good old way of re-installing the software. I got the MIDI devices coming in after I did it.
