Midi Learn / Simple Mapping

This has been requested for years, but the current midi mapping system is beyond cumbersome in terms of quickly prototyping an interaction. A basic midi learn function would do wonders for making simple inputs more accessible.

Some UI kits have tried to simplify this, but since the move to widgets/binding, most aren’t updated or working.

Any chance of seeing something like this implemented officially?

I haven’t had any need for serious midi mapping until now and had to find out that midi learn does not exist in touchdesigner? It seems such a basic function nearly any midi-capable software has :confused:
