I’ve just started having a weird problem where for some reason my monitor ID numbers are switching . . . my main display becomes #2 and my external #1. Still keeps all menus and main Touch display on #2, but since my Window COMP specifies display 1 (not 0) for the render that window then draws on top of my main Touch window.

The old trick of switching cables on the Nvidia card ports doesn’t work. The only way I’ve found to fix it is to restart without any monitors plugged in, then after boot plug in my main monitor to the lower port on the card. Then plug in the second monitor to the upper port.

We found the drivers monitor naming wasn’t consistent to use, so what we do now is name monitors based on their position. The leftmost monitor is 0 and the one right of that is 1 etc. There is a similar convention for up/down, but I forget which is 0.
