Would be nice to have an options/flags/parameters for the following:

  1. Turning off the red box when no file is loaded
  2. Turning off the gray box that flashes if file isn’t loaded
  3. Setting alpha of 0 when no file is loaded

No options right now, but you could use a info CHOP on the Movie In and then export the open channel to a switch TOP index to toggle between what you want.

The switch method would work, but when dealing with complex player networks (event media servers) the above can be a real pain to program around and add unnecessary bulk to an otherwise simple network.
Even unload() cmd will not clear the player back. The black 256X256 frame is stuck there until you load a file.
